You know it's cold when...

-Your son runs out onto the driveway and eats it, lands up on his back.
-Your daughter is so bundled up she can't move, forget walking.
-There are over 100 accidents reported on the highways.
-FOG is freezing and turning into snow.
-When stopping by Starbucks for something warm and toasty, the menu looks like this.

Growing up...

Peyton is growing up SO fast...too fast. Just this week she has:
-Said "more please", "cheese", "bag", "book".
-Used the potty several times
-Started running up and giving the biggest hugs
-Blown kisses

There are many other things she has done this week, but the one thing she hasn't done is slowed down how fast she is growing up!

Turkey Day...

We had SO many wonderful friends and family over for Thanksgiving! We are so blessed with the company we keep, thank you all for the wonderful time.




















We had some great visitors, here is Andrew and his daddy Gilles who came with a wonderful bottle of wine and delicious dessert!

After everyone ate, we headed over to the park, kids and power wheels in tow. After a game of PIG (the men couldn't make it to HORSE), we returned for the yummy desserts everyone brought, then the kiddos played in the back yard.

Yes, I've tried them before. And there were several "nay sayers" who wouldn't quite call them pigs. Well please take note of the ringlets in the pictures, that would be called a piggy!!

So it's opening game day of the Texas season. We enjoyed some wings and family time. PEYTON enjoyed them a little too much, try and get that wing out of that little girl's hand.

Park with Friends

A while back we loaded up the kiddos and took them to the park in matching outfits and I took as many pictures as I could while I ran after them. These are my faves.

Time Flies...

When you are working and working! I've returned to the workforce and things are in full swing. I returned on the 28th of July and we have finally gotten the routine down in time for Parker to return to school next week! I can't believe he'll be in school 5 days a week.

What else has happened? Jordan and Dewey had a fabulous wedding and are back in the swing of things as well. I have to hold Jeremy and Parker back daily from their cake top that is in the freezer.
